Accounting Specialist
Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Manage chart of accounts, customer and supplier records
Handle core bookkeeping operations including invoices, bills, purchase orders, and reconciliations
Perform bank, credit card, and payment gateway (PayPal, Stripe, Wise) reconciliations
Oversee payroll processing, VAT returns, and monthly/quarterly/yearly financial reporting
Manage e-commerce bookkeeping (Amazon, Shopify, eBay)
Integrate and use accounting apps such as Hubdoc, Dext, Bill, and Pipedrive
Manage budgets, projects, expense claims, and bank loans
Utilize AI bookkeeping tools to improve accuracy and efficiency
Maintain strong client relationships through timely and professional communication
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery
Prepare monthly KPI reports and maintain high typing accuracy and speed
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting
Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting
BBA in Accounting or Finance
MBA in Finance
Certification in Xero or QuickBooks (preferred and prioritized)
Experience Requirement
1–2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
Experience working in a Group of Companies preferred
Key Competencies
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and financial reporting
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Xero
Typing Speed: 25–35 WPM (English)
Strong spoken and written English communication skills
Familiarity with e-commerce accounting platforms
Experience with accounting automation and AI tools
Detail-oriented with high accuracy in data entry
Strong team collaboration mindset
KPI-driven and performance-focused
